Long Arm Quilting Samples
On this page you will be able to see some photos of quilts we have done. From simple meanderings to a more complex combination of hand and computer guided stitching as well as some themed offerings.

We were honored to be asked to convert 32 drawings from the St. Anne's school kindergarten class each student made of themselves to cloth, create a quilt for a fund-raiser for the school, and provide the quilting and binding to finish the quilt. Each block, as you can see, has the students artwork printed to cloth, not a screen print that will split and crack in the wash. We are proud of this work as it not only shows off our quilting but the printing of pictures to cloth as would be done with memory quilt blocks we do.
Quilt Maker is Paula McGee
We are honored to have been asked to do the machine quilting on these two quilts as they are being donated to the Sutter Cancer Center and to be auctioned off in a silent auction by the Sutter Health Cancer Center.

This EARTH TONE quilt was created silk/rayon velvet squares was designed by Tayo's Fabrics & Quilts and pieced by Janet Benson of the shop.
BROWN FLOWER quilt created by Paula McGee. The thread choosing blends into the top but the pattern is visible without being distracting.
A close-up of Paula's quilt showing a swirling in-and-out type meander used. The fabric is complemented by a drawing on the border design.
Renáe McClain White made this tiger quilt. Multiple layers of bordering, top & bottom fancy balls, the outer brown frame uses a bamboo border, the outer panels use a half-circle design, and finally a stitch-in-the-ditch for the outer most border.
This close-up shows the hand guided stitching around the tiger and some of the grass to add definition. Unfortunately the photo doesn't show the depth this gives to the overall quilt Renáe wanted.
On this close-up of the Sun Bonnet Sue, notice the all over bubbles do not enter the cross-stitched block(s) contained within the framing and outside of the quilt, leaving the Sun Bonnet Sue as the center piece of each block.
Paula McGee created this quilt with MONKEYS in trees so I drew from the leaves for the pattern. The thread color was from the background color.
This quilt has MONKEYS in the blocks. I used a "leafy" type meander on this. I really like the backing she choose for this quilt.
This is another of Paula McGee's quilts. It shows the exception to the rule that the thread should blend-in.
The bright colors make using bright gold thread an obvious choice on this quilt that Paula has created.
In the corner picture notice the Japanese word for "Happiness" as well as the fan pattern that was used as a edge-to-edge.
This is another quilt for a retiring friend. LUCKY FRIEND! Renee requested a flower pattern all over except in the center square.
This little boy and girl quilt was made by Michele Hoesch. Yes, my wife. I experiment on her tops to insure the machine is working correctly before I start on a client's.
On this test quilt I used a slightly complex ANGEL panto. This pattern is one that is commercially available to all long arm quilters.
This is another of my test quilts but this time using a "DRAGON FLY" panto. This will find its way to a shelter or other charity.
